The Northwest Kentucky Training Consortium (NKTC) is a unique non-profit training partnership between employers, educational and other training/employment service providers. NKTC was incorporated in August 2010 to create training opportunities that will meet employer needs and strengthen the skill level of the current and future workforce. Become a member of the consortium and reap the benefits of shared knowledge and training opportunities.
Northwest Kentucky Training Consortium services the four counties of Henderson, Union, Webster, and McLean in western Kentucky. The consortium is governed by an elected board that consists of members from industry, education, economic development and small businesses.
Industries, economic development agencies, and training providers working together to support employee development, meet training needs, and leverage training costs.
Training can cover OSHA classes, industry-specific training, computer skills, communications, customer service to supervisory skills and more—whatever helps our regional industries succeed.
The NKTC recently received a Kentucky Workforce Investment Board Industry Partnership Grant to enhance the Consortium’s value to business and industry and will be expanding opportunities.
