FREE SEMINAR: Explore the Henderson County Riverport
The cost of transporting products from you or your competitor often is the deciding factor as to who gets the business. With a multitude of businesses dependent on shipping and easy access to river, road and rail usage, the Henderson County Riverport is offering Henderson, McLean, Union and Webster county industries the opportunity to explore how the Henderson County Riverport can help evaluate freight transportation and warehousing alternatives.
A two hour seminar from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. will be presented by the Henderson County Riverport Director, Greg Pritchett, on 8 March 2011 at the Henderson County Extension Office on Highway 351. The seminar will share how one can use: 1) river and rail freight transportation; 2) Foreign Trade Zones; 3) and for those interested in exporting products, Greg Pritchett will share his past experiences in foreign customer relationships and export finance.
With their central location on the Ohio River, the Henderson County Riverport offers storage and distribution services needed to move companies’ products to, from, and throughout our nation and overseas.
“I certainly hope people will take advantage of this opportunity to discuss and share ways to grow their business, and that the Henderson County Riverport is just one of those ways to do so,” said Greg Pritchett.
