Welcome our newest neighbor!

Northwest Kentucky Forward joined with Governor Fletcher in welcoming Homecare of Seattle with their decision to locate their new manufacturing facility in Morganfield.  The company is purchasing the Union County Spec Building and will create 135 new jobs.  An aluminum fabricator, the company will be making a new industrial product here as well as moving their distribution and some other manufacturing.

Here we grow again

Scott Industries has been approved for state tax incentives in the amount of $250,000 to assist in their planned 60,000 SF expansion at their Henderson facility, Scott Foam Technologies.  The expansion will create at least 15 new jobs. Scott Foam Technologies offers custom fabrication of non-fiberglass materials such as PVC foams, silicones, cellular rubber, polyurethanes, etc.

And again

The state has approved $400,000.00 in tax incentives for Rayloc’s planned expansion at the Morganfield facility (Union County).   This expansion will create 50 new jobs. Rayloc is in the “automotive parts group” of Genuine Parts Company and remanufactures and distributes automotive parts.

And again

Matrix Composites has been approved by the KEDFA Board for $150,000 in tax incentives under the KIDA program.  Matrix is a privately owned Henderson business that manufactures woven and knitted fiberglass.  They have been in their present location for eleven years and produce one million pounds of fiberglass per month.  With the KIDA approval, Matrix will add a minimum of 15 jobs and expand their manufacturing facility.

Leading the way in investing in our people

Northwest Kentucky Forward and Henderson Community College are leading the way in Kentucky by helping companies invest in our people.  HCC led all other schools in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System this past year in securing WINS grants to assist companies with training programs.  Since January, NWKF has assisted local companies in securing nearly half a million dollars in Bluegrass State Skills training funds!

Get Connected to your next employee

NWKF is partnering with the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Council to provide job seekers and employers a new online database to find one another.  Job seekers can register for free with either an Associate’s degree or higher or WorkKeys scores.  Employers can then search, for free, for potential employees based on a number of criteria.  Look for more information coming soon on NorthwestKyWorks.com!

Look what we have been up to!
