Building

Sites

Rev up to 70!

The area’s already speedy transportation network just kicked it up a notch thanks to legislation passed in the spring by the Kentucky General Assembly, many interstates and parkways in Kentucky are now posting 70 MPH speed limits.  Northwest Kentucky’s own Breathitt (future I-69 corridor) and Audubon Parkways were among the first with the new speed limits.

Training Funds

Kentucky offers businesses two pools of money to assist with training.  Bluegrass State Skills, ranked among the top state training assistance programs in the country, provides and grants and tax credits to assist businesses with their training needs.  In the last 6 months, approximately $500,000 in BSSC funds have been awarded to Northwest Kentucky businesses!

The Kentucky WINS program provides assistance to companies participating in customized training opportunities through the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.  Henderson Community College led this 16 college system last fiscal year in total WINS grant funding!

Year-End Up Date

The just ended fiscal year (30 June) was a great one for Northwest Kentucky!  The past year saw total investment from new and expanding employers pass $20 million with more than 500 new jobs created as a result of this investment.  The new year is promising to be even better.  Contact us today to find out how your business can join the excitement in Northwest Kentucky.
