Congratulations to our entrepreneurship partner, Community Ventures Corp, which was just named Kentucky’s SBA Lender of the Year for the 10th time in the last 12 years! We are proud to partner with CVC as they provide professional consulting as well as Jump Start, Micro, and 504 lending to entrepreneurs here in Northwest Kentucky.
We spent our last full day in the CR today driving back to Prague and seeing the city. Unbelievable! It is an amazingly beautiful city. Even with a light drizzle and much cooler temperature it was amazing.
We went to Prague Castle which overlooks city. This labyrinth of more than 1000 years of building and rebuilding, includes a number of state buildings, museums and a breathtaking cathedral. Additionally, it offers breathtaking views of the Charles River and the city down below.

This is the fourth in a series of blogposts from our visit with our sister region in Olomouc, Czech, and participation in meetings and a trade show there
This evening, we drove approximately an hour from Olomouc to the city of Sumperk. It is also in the Olomoucky kraj. It is a beautiful town with a great town square.
We had dinner with the Mayor and Vice Mayor to discuss opening discussions with establishing a sister city relationship between Sumperk and Henderson.
The two cities are actually quite alike. Both areas have roughly the same population and both are home to significant blues festivals! The Mayor and Vice Mayor were very gracious and interested in learning more about Henderson and Northwest Kentucky.
It was a very open and optimistic meeting and I very much hope that we can host a delegation from Sumperk for the Handy Blues Fest in the near future!

Recently, a friend asked me why it seemed like I was always on the road. The reason is two-fold:
1) I AM always on the road!
2) to take the Northwest Kentucky story to companies considering new location decisions and to the consultants who assist companies in making these decisions.
