2nd Open House Planned at HCHS

Northwest Kentucky Forward and Henderson County High School are again planning an Open House for Area Businesses—Getting to Know You to Grow Our Partnership on Thursday, 18 February.
Last year’s event was a great success with many businesses surprised to learn what all the High School has to offer and many students learning what career opportunities exist within the community.
Getting to Know You to Grow Our Partnership:

Provides the existing businesses an opportunity to see and learn what the Career and Technical Education Unit has to offer them;

Provides the Career and Technical Education Unit students the opportunity to find out what our existing businesses do and what it would take to be able to work for them;

Provides the parents and community the opportunity to meet the existing businesses;

Provides the high school an opportunity to receive input from the existing businesses on what they need from the school
What you need to know:

We will be using the auxiliary gym instead of the cafeteria this year for our businesses to set up
- Please bring “goodies” to give away to the students
- You may bring banners to hang from the table, projectors/screens, etc. to advertise your business **please advise what electrical support your will need**
- Businesses are to arrive between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. and be ready by 1:00 p.m.
- Guided tours for the businesses will be given between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
- Businesses will be engaged with the students, parents and community from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- This is NOT a job fair!
